Ready to race against the clock and take your skiing to the next level? Designed for Class 4 / Expert skiers, this course offers a comprehensive competition training programme.

On the programme:
  • Endurance skiing and technical training
  • Technical analysis and personalised feedback
  • Dedicated training area
Training in Slalom, Giant Slalom and Ski Cross, including the Flèche and Chamois tests

Guided by our expert esf instructors and competition specialists, you’ll refine your technique, improve your performance and develop greater fluidity on the slopes, all in a safe and motivating environment.

What equipment do I need for this course?
Please bring:
  • Slalom skis suitable for your ability level (ask your ski hire shop for advice).
  • A back protector.
  • A helmet.
  • Slalom-specific protective equipment, as recommended for your level.
Do I need special insurance?
  • Pupils are not insured by esf, so we strongly recommend taking out suitable insurance.
  • Assur’Glisse insurance is available online or from the ski lift ticket offices.
  • You can also purchase seasonal snow insurance from esf or the Les 2 Alpes Ski Club.
  • It is also worth checking with your bank, as some bank cards may include cover for off-piste skiing.
Is registration for the Flèche and Chamois races included?
Yes. All pupils enrolled in the Competition course are entered for the various events — Flèche, Chamois and Skier Cross — depending on the week’s race programme.

Results can count towards the national ski rankings through OPEN Points.
