- School holidays are particularly busy periods. We recommend booking as early as possible so that we can offer you the best possible availability for our lessons.
- Choose your meeting point (lesson departure point) carefully according to where you will be staying in the resort. Depending on the period, discipline and level, you may be able to choose between the esf Belle Étoile meeting point (at the entrance to the resort), Jandri (resort centre) and Côte Brune. Please refer to the 2 Alpes resort map.

Our advice to help your children get the most out of their ski lessons
- Equipment is not included in our services.
- Children must arrive at their lessons with the appropriate equipment (skis and ski boots) and suitable clothing (clothing appropriate for the outdoor temperature, gloves, sunglasses or goggles).
- No ski poles are required until 1ère étoile level.
- Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended.
- From Flocon level onwards, your child must have a skipass from the first day (free for children under 5). For Ourson and Piou Piou levels, please wait for instructions from the instructor.
- Use sunscreen suitable for children.
- Put some tissues and a small snack in their pocket for the lesson break — a fruit purée pouch is ideal.
- Make sure your mobile phone number is in their pocket.
- A meal option is available when booking. Our instructors look after the children’s comfort, meals and rest time. If your child has a food allergy, unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate them for this service.
- Please inform us of any health issues your child may have.
- Avoid following or calling out to your child during their lesson, as this could distract them and affect their progress.
- Please allow the instructors to decide whether your child should change group or level.
- On Fridays, the final 15 minutes of lessons are dedicated to reviewing the week and presenting medals to the children with their instructors.
- Your child is on holiday, and the aim is for them to have fun and want to come back. Let them progress at their own pace and don’t try to turn them into a champion before they are ready!
Equipment
To get the most out of your lessons, having the right equipment is essential. Here is what you will need depending on your chosen discipline.

- Freestyle: helmet and back protector recommended.
- Competition: helmet, back protector and specific slalom protection recommended.

We do not recommend the “full-day lessons + lunch” option for young children or beginners. The pace may be too demanding and could discourage them.
If you would like your children to be looked after for the entire day, another option is available:
- Half-day morning ski lessons — book with esf.
- “Après-ski” package (lunch + afternoon childcare): contact the Multi-accueil "Le bonhomme de neige" for 4-year-olds, or the Accueil de Loisirs for children aged 5 and over to register.

Why doesn’t my child’s age match the selected course?
We calculate your child’s age based on their date of birth and the course start date to make sure that the course is suitable for them.
The age taken into account is your child’s age on the first day of the course, not on the day you make your booking. This is why the message may initially seem incorrect, but it is not an error.
Please select another course that is suitable for your child’s age at the start of their ski holiday.
