Ready to take it to the next level? Experience six days of intensive training on Europe’s largest glacier! Designed for skiers at Étoile d'Or or Class 4level,this competition course is the perfect opportunity to push your limits and strive for excellence.

Under the guidance of our expert esf instructors, you’ll refine your technique in Special Slalom and Giant Slalom, improve your line choice and maximise your speed. With the help of video analysis, you’ll review your runs to progress like a true competitor!

What skiing level do I need to take part in the Competition course?

You must have achieved Étoile d’Or level or be a Class 4 skier.

What equipment do I need to bring for the Competition course?

Please bring:

Slalom skis.
Appropriate protective equipment for competitive skiing, including a helmet, back protector and slalom protection.
A rucksack with water and snacks.

Can I store my ski equipment?

es. You can leave your skis, boots and poles in the secure esf chalet at 3,200 metres on the glacier, so you won’t need to carry your equipment up and down each day.

Please remember to bring a pair of trainers to wear for the journey back down to the resort.

Are there any timed slalom events between May and July?

No. There is no official slalom course on the glacier during the high-altitude skiing season from May to July, so we are unable to offer timed events such as the Flèche or Chamois.

Slalom training is still available as part of our Competition course or through private lessons.
